Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and AstroCodex (“Company”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the AstroCodex platform, website, mobile interfaces and the AstroCodex Telegram Bot (the “Service”).

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Cookie Policy and AI Disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has consented to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Description of the Service

AstroCodex is an AI-assisted astrology platform. It calculates natal charts, generates interpretations, performs archetype analysis and hosts interactive AI conversations (web chat and Telegram Bot). AstroCodex is an information and entertainment service. It does not provide medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. See our AI Disclosure for the limitations of AI output.

4. Account

You may create an account with email and password, via Google OAuth, or via Telegram login. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@astrocodex.ai about any unauthorised access.

5. Plans, Pricing & Auto-Renewal

The Service is offered in Free, Standard, Pro and Pro+ plans. Current features, pricing and one-off token packs are listed on the Pricing page. Paid plans auto-renew for the same billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your account settings or with your payment processor.

6. Payment Processors

Payments on astrocodex.ai are handled by:

Paddle.com Market Ltd — acting as Merchant of Record, responsible for VAT/sales-tax collection and remittance in supported jurisdictions.
Telegram Stars (Telegram FZ-LLC) — in-Telegram purchases.

We do not process card data ourselves and we do not use Stripe.

7. Refunds & Withdrawal

EU/EEA — 14-day right of withdrawal. Consumers resident in the EU/EEA have a 14-day right to withdraw from a paid subscription without giving any reason. However, by starting to use the AI features (generating interpretations, consuming tokens) you explicitly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the digital content has been supplied, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

Outside these cases, fees are generally non-refundable.

8. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks and proprietary content, is owned by the Company and protected by applicable IP laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the birth data and questions you input. You grant us a licence to process them solely to operate the Service.

10. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI interpretations are generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, inconsistent or fabricated (“hallucinations”). See the AI Disclosure for full limitations. You must not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial or life-critical decisions.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, the AUP, or applicable law. Sections on IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law and dispute resolution survive termination.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware. You may bring individual claims in small-claims court where permitted. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the extent permitted by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
