Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the AstroCodex platform and all related services (the “Service”), operated by AstroCodex. This AUP supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account.

1. Prohibited Activities

1.1. Illegal Activity

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Engage in or facilitate fraud, identity theft, financial crimes, or money laundering.
  • Distribute or transmit illegal content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights.

1.2. Harmful or Offensive Content

  • Post or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, or hateful.
  • Share content that exploits or harms minors in any way.
  • Publish personal information of others without their explicit consent (“doxxing”).

1.3. System Integrity

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its infrastructure, or other users’ accounts.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other malicious code.
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attacks.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
  • Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security feature or access control.

1.4. Automated Access and Scraping

  • Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or extract data from the Service without prior written consent.
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, bans, or other restrictions.
  • Automate requests to AI features in a manner that exceeds normal human usage patterns.

1.5. AI and Generated Content Misuse

  • Use the AI features to generate content intended to deceive, manipulate, or mislead others.
  • Attempt to circumvent or “jailbreak” the AI systems integrated into the Service.
  • Use AI-generated content from the Service to train competing AI models without authorization.
  • Present AI-generated astrological interpretations as professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.

1.6. Commercial Exploitation

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without explicit written authorization from the Company.
  • Use the Service to build competing products by systematically copying its content or features.

1.7. Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages or spam.
  • Use referral or affiliate links in a deceptive, misleading, or spammy manner.

2. Responsible Use of Astrological Data

AstroCodex provides astrological information for entertainment and educational purposes only. You agree not to use any content generated by the Service as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other expert advice. Making consequential life decisions based solely on astrological interpretations is at your own risk.

3. Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when using the Service, including birth data entered for astrological chart calculations. Intentionally providing false data to generate misleading content or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to support@astrocodex.ai. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP.
  • Suspend or permanently terminate any account found to be in violation.
  • Report illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations and legal proceedings.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance.
